Rumors. Much like the Fleetwood Mac album, that's all any talk of Dodge exiting the American car market are. We know we've been over this before on the young Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram blog, but it's always worth re-addressing, because Dodge is focused on keeping us satisfied with its offerings for many years to come.
If you need any proof, Dodge brand boss Tim Kuniskis recently told publications that there is no plan to consolidate brands under the Chrysler umbrella, and Dodge is here to stay. Just a few months earlier, SRT head Ralph Gilles said the same thing.
Each also discussed how the new Dodge would become more focused as they advance. What exactly does that mean? Well, right now it's still in the planning stages, but we have a pretty good idea.
Models like the Challenger, Charger, and Dart are all very popular. Our guess would be that the Dodge brand focuses on these sports sedans and compacts, and provides drivers with options that boast plenty of power, good looks, and 100% pure American fun, you guys.
